Hey everyone... Just a quick note and some pictures. Everyone is doing great here at the Strahl compound. Emily poops more than any human should, but otherwise she's wonderful. Matt is going to explode if Christmas doesn't come soon. Finally got our tree up last week and now if it would only snow, it would feel like the holidays.

eating. sleeping. pooping. etc.
The fall in review.....
Obviously we have welcomed Emily Jean to team Strahl and she seems to be a good fit. She does mostly newborn stuff like eat, sleep and crap but we still think she's just dandy. Her first Doctors appointment is Thursday the 15th and we are anxious to see how much she has already grown. Matt simply loves her and is a big "help" with his little sister. He calls her sissy and sings her Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to help her sleep.
Matt started ECE (early childhood education) this fall and is doing very well. He is getting good at spelling simple words and may be able to read soon. He is supposed to start karate next week but we shall see.
Jen is on hiatus from work to take care of the baby and is enjoying every minute of it. Labor was much shorter this time and she didn't even have a hair out of place afterwards. She went into labor in the top of the second inning of the Rockies game and gave birth in the bottom of the eighth!
I am working about 70 hours a week between my jobs at Kellogg's and Ink! Coffee. It is exhausting but a nice change of pace from 4 years at home with Matt. I will have much more to send along in the coming weeks but thought I better get back on track with some pictures at least.
P.S. Happy Birthday Pat!
